Robin Rinearson, O.D.
Dr. Rinearson is a 1977 graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. She has a post-doctoral certificate in developmental and pediatric optometry from the same school. She is Board Certified to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. She is particularily interested in multiply handicapped and learning disabled patients as well as general family eye care.
Dr. Rinearson served nine years on the Virginia State Board of Optometry. She also was the Optometry Board's member to the
Virginia Board of Health Professions and is a past chairwoman. She served on the
American Optometric Association's Licensure and Regulation committee and was chair of this for several years. She was on the
Council of Optometric Education which is the accrediting body for the schools and colleges of optometry and their residency programs. She is an examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry for the practical portion of the licensing test. She was voted Virginia Optometrist of the Year in 1989 by the Virginia Optometric Association.
Dr. Rinearson provides community service in the form of lectures to parents, teachers, reading specialists, occupation and physical therapists and speech therapists on the topic of visually related learning disorders. She has developed an extensive network with other medical providers to assist in proper diagnosis and management of complicated developmental disorders.
Dr. Rinearson is an intrepid traveller with an irreverent sense of humor. She is certified in SCUBA and in Formula One racing. She loves whitewater rafting and other water sports. She recently obtained a motorcycle license and enjoys biking to breakfast early on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Christopher J. Renner, O.D.
Dr. Renner is a graduate of
Berry College in Rome, GA. and the
School of Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. He is interested in the care of children and adults with special vision needs, as well as developmental optometry, contact lenses and family eye care. He is certified by the Board of Optometry to use both diagnostic and therapeutic drugs. Dr. Renner was honored as the 1993 Vanguard of the Year by the Virginia Optometric Association. He sits on the
Medicare Carrier Advisory Commitee. Dr. Renner is a consultant to area nursing and rehabilitation centers, the
Virginia Department of Rehabilitation Services, as well as a volunteer for the Arlington Free Clinic. He is a past president of the Northern Virginia Optometric Society and is a committee chairman for the Virginia Optometric Association.
Dr. Renner has four children and enjoys running and soccer.

Robert Warren, O.D.
Dr. Warren is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA. and the Southern College of Optometery in Memphis, TN. Dr Warren is a third generation optometrist, who started working in his father's offices making contacts and glasses at the age of twelve. He has been a licensed, practicing optometrist since 1976, when he joined his father's practice. Upon his father's retirement in 1992, he continued a solo practice until joining this office in 1994. He is Board Certified to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Warren was a consultant to the U.S. Navy working to prevent eye injuries for the civilian employees of the Naval Surface Warfare Center. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the Northern Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Warren is a consultant to area nursing and rehabilitation centers, the Virginia Department of Rehabilitation Services, and the Virginia Department of General Relief.
In addition to Dr. Warren's general optometric practice,
he provides pre- and post-operative care for LASIK patients. He enjoys a close relationship with several area surgeons for LASIK and cataract surgical procedures.
Dr. Warren also provides custom contact lens design and fitting for special needs patients with keratoconus or distorted corneas. Dr. Warren maintains special office equipment to support these needs. He frequently takes referrals from area Ophthalmologists and Optometrists for these special needs patients.
Dr. Warren is married with four children. He enjoys whitewater kayaking; and horseback riding, doubles volleyball, and ballroom dancing with his wife. He is affectionately referred to as Dr. Evil by the office staff for shooting rubber bands at them.

Chong Sarit, Optician
Chong Sarit is our benchman and optician. He is the staff member who actually makes the eyeglasses. He started his profession in the early 1970's and is unparalleled in his field as a superb craftsman. Chong is our troubleshooter for frame fits and progressive lens adaptation. There is no job too great or too small for him.
In his spare time he enjoys home repair projects.

Christine Miller, Optician
Christine Miller has worked as an optician for nearly 20 years. She moved to this area a year ago after living in Omaha, where she received her ABO and managed an office for a large group of doctors.
Chris handles the VSP insurance for our office and sees patients at over a dozen nursing homes, which she thoroughly enjoys.
In this office we have a wide assortment of extremely stylish frames. We work with all the latest lenses. What a joy for an optician to have such variety and quality to work with.
Chris enjoys reading, sightseeing with her husband and especially her grandchildren.

Wanda Knox, Administration
Wanda Knox moved to Northern Virginia from Chestertown, Maryland, in 1994. She provided Office Support for Bed, Bath and Beyond for four years. She joined Drs. Rinearson, Renner, and Warren in 1998 as a receptionist. Wanda has lived in diverse areas of the United States, including Key West, Florida, and Tempe, Arizona.
Wanda has two beautiful children (they take after their mother). She loves to walk everywhere, spends lots of money on shoes, enjoys reading and her cat, Misty.
